Amazing architecture Stoneage Style House in Portugal

This is a stoneage house that has amazing architecture and design exterior.Placed in a peaceful pastoral setting in Nas Montanhas de Fafe, Portugal. This hillside house boasts unobstructed, untarnished views of the grass-covered mountain and valley. This unusual structure isn’t your typical house, featuring an irregular
exterior, but some traditional “house” elements were incorporated – namely, its charming windows and a shingled roof that stands out among these seemingly untouched, natural surroundings.

the new Apartment Therapy

The way we decorate our homes is a matter of personal taste and it is my belief that the style of your home should be determined by what brings you joy. But what about the exterior? If you wanted to decorate the outside of your home in a style that did not blend in with your block or your neighborhood, would you?

One home in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn stands out among the neutral taupes and earthy browns of the other buildings. Although the doors, window fixtures and facade of the building are all traditional, one thing sets it apart: one very unique choice of paint color.

As a matter of fact, it is actually not so much the color of the building that makes it unique, but rather the context. Despite its proximity to water, Brooklyn is not the Italian Riviera, Virgin Islands or Miami, some of the many places where a pink house would be unremarkable. For an urban area it is indeed a controversial choice.

Family House

When we first spotted this house, called “Family House,” we thought how oddly it had been named. There just doesn’t seem to be much warmth iminating from the exterior of this structure. If anything, this looks more like institutional architecture than a warm, friendly family home. But we kept looking at the photos, and
finally discovered the charm to it; it’s more like a bulwark against the outer world to protect the family unit within. And the inside itself is a soft, simple stage with which the family unit can shine.

Designed by dva arhitekta, this home is located in Zagreb, Croatia: ”The house is designed for a young family who wanted to build a home in greenery near the city centre. Mostly small apartment buildings and single family houses slowly take place of traditional houses with gardens which used to provide idyllic, almost pastoral atmosphere of the area. The main requirement of the project was to hide away from neigbours and provide views and orientation to the south and greenery. By the usage of waste brick as a facade cladding the house fits perfectly to the eclectic atmosphere of its surrounding.”visit : dva-arhitekta

Envirosponsible Shelter

A while back, I mentioned The Crib, an “enviresponsible shelter” by Broadhurst Architects that can be used as a weekend cabin, backyard office, exercise studio, or guest house — you name it.  Well it’s time for a short update from our last article, if you haven’t already noticed, that a 250 square-foot Crib was built on
the grounds of the Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland.  It’s being used as a visual arts studio, a lab, and a gallery and is open to visitors during certain events and various other times.

Live Modern: BAK Architech

Talk about your fall and winter color palettes. Geez this home is stunning. That mixture of a dark, charcoal gray with that warm, honey-red wood is making us almost pass out. And surrounded so closely by those tall and narrow pine trees makes this just such an amazing example of how modern architecture can really work with nature. It’s clear this home would look beautiful anywhere it was located, but it just really seems to vibrate with beauty being nestled into this grove of trees.bak architecture

JUG WATER CARAFE AND CUP BY ALDO BAKKER

From Particles Gallery, a curvy porcelain water jug that requires thoughtful handling, it can rest spout up ready to serve or spout down to "shelter" a matching cup.

"When full, the Jug balances on the table; when empty, you can turn it upside down again to cover the cup." More at Aldo Bakker. Photos: Erik and Petra Hesmerg.

Recreate famous architecture using toothpicks

Soothing programs by best selling author and composer Max Highstein The Diet Solution Program

To create a famous architecture, an architect doesn’t need complex software. He doesn’t even need a pencil and a board.
All he needs is imagination. The material base it’s just a small detail. An architect has to be able to create using various materials, in original ways.
With imagination, an architect can use original materials to recreate famous architecture designs: toothpiks
You have no idea what u can do with some toothpiks.
Scott Weaver is an architect with huge imagination and patience. He recreated an abstract toothpick sculpture of San Francisco, which we all know, it is one of the most famous architecture designs in the world.
